Cold Spring Valley Racquet Club

The Cold Spring Valley Racquet Club was conceptualized and built in the early 1980's by the John Dunn family. The family insisted on building a club with a special aura that technology simply could not duplicate. The idea was to create a club that seizes the romanticism and mystique that is associated with European red clay courts - and to develop a tennis facility second to none! The family decided to duplicate the courts found at the most famous red clay facility in the world - Roland Garros, France's heroic wartime aviator and national tennis center.

The family built the club on four beautiful acres close to Cold Spring Harbor. The property is in a valley that has very little wind. The club is in a prime "gold coast" location and has easy access by car or train. The club has 6 world class European red clay courts and 2 green Har-Tru courts - all surrounded by acres of lush landscaping, brick and slate patios and a rustic post and beam Clubhouse.

The Clubhouse has full locker facilities and a huge 22' high hexagonal Great Room that is a perfect setting for private parties, weddings and catered events.
